Robert Durst
 The inheritor to a multi-million dollar company and reason for HBO's documentary "Jinx," has been arrested for Murder. While the story of Robert Durst was being aired, he was being arrested for murdering his wife, friend, and neighbor. Crimes over 15-years old were finally admitted during an "off the air" voice recording of Durst. CNN Reports  that Durst began to murmur to himself  some very chilling and disturbing words "what the hell did I do? Killed them all, of course." Durst was acquitted back in 2003 for the murder of a neighbor and was never found guilty for the murders of his estranged wife and friend. Now Durst must wait for his trial and his future may be grim considering an unexpected confession.

Bizarre turn of events....
Life for Durst was hard even as a child. Bio.com reports, "When he was seven, his 32-year-old mother either jumped or fell to her death from the roof of the family home in Scarsdale, New York." Although he grew up with wealth he lived a strange life with unusual actions, such as stealing and the killing of several dogs. HBO took interests in Durst's life story a few years ago and began  filming a documentary where he continued to claim his innocence.  What made Durst murmur a confession? Perhaps the pressures of a secret can make a person lose his or her mind. Not sure how Durst will get out of this one and it seems as if his future could be in the power of his own tongue.

Persecution of homosexuals

Man thrown off roof by ISIS  "The torment of gay Syrians"       By: Magdalena Bush             B eing a gay man in Syria seems to be detrimental in an already destructive environment. ISIS, an Islamic militant group whose main goal is to overtake the Muslims, constantly expresses their beliefs through horrific atrocities. The recent development of tormenting and murders of homosexual men is just one example of severe and unorthodox behavior. CNN reports , " Victim brutally killed because he was accused of being gay." Persecuted   The report on the killings of homosexuals in Syria goes on to discuss the abuse and fleeing of gay men who fear for their lives. ISIS seems to take belief to the extreme, but tormenting by a community who treats homosexuals like the plague has proven to be a common problem in Syria.
