Fifty Shades for kids?

Is 50 Shades of Grey too much?

 If you've read the book "Fifty Shades of Grey," you know that the movie is just as hot and sexy. The film has been rated "R," which changes the dynamics of the film. Entertainment Weekly reports "the "R" rating means that if you're 17 or younger, you have to be with a parent or guardian." The article goes on to tell readers that the screenwriter wanted to have two versions of the movie that includes NC-17 for those who want to see even more. As if the film needed any more sexual scenes? 


One can probably say that the filmmakers are being too risky in allowing children or teens to watch the film in the company of an adult. When is it too much? Television, video games, and films can be too sexual and violent for children. A parent needs to decide what is appropriate enough for a child to view, but should filmmakers be held accountable as well? After watching the film myself, I feel no child should see this type of sexual and graphic movie. The film should have been rated NC-17, but it's always about that bottom dollar. Wise note to parents...take your kids to see something a bit more PG-13. They do not need any more coercion to participate in adult activities. I say skip the movies and go bowling instead. At least your child will not have to deal with hormones while sitting next to you.

Persecution of homosexuals

ISIS, an Islamic militant group whose main goal is to overtake the Muslims, constantly expresses their beliefs through horrific atrocities. The recent development of tormenting and murders of homosexual men is just one example of severe and unorthodox behavior. CNN reports , " Victim brutally killed because he was accused of being gay." Persecuted   The report on the killings of homosexuals in Syria goes on to discuss the abuse and fleeing of gay men who fear for their lives.
