Opinion blog       By: Magdalena Bush Robert Durst smirking at the camera during his arrest Millionaire and subject of HBO's documentary "Jinx" Robert Durst, was arrested for the murders of his wife, friend, and neighbor; crimes that date back 15-years. During the taping of the show "Jinx," Durst was talking to himself while using the bathroom and confessed to killing all three victims. Durst was found saying "what the hell did I do? Killed them all of course" according to   CNN . This strange bathroom confession is proof that Durst killed three people and killed his chance for a free life. Who could have imagined that a person could be as foolish as to blab a confession? Or could it be that Durst could not handle the pressure any longer? When you apply pressure to a person, what is in them will eventually come out.  Well, it appears as if Durst is the definition of foolish! Not sure how he has gotten away ...

While the story of Robert Durst was being aired, he was being arrested for murdering his wife, friend, and neighbor. Crimes over 15-years old were finally admitted during an "off the air" voice recording of Durst.  CNN Reports   that Durst began to murmur to himself  some very chilling and disturbing words "what the hell did I do? Killed them all, of course." Durst was acquitted back in 2003 for the murder of a neighbor and was never found guilty for the murders of his estranged wife and friend. By: Magdalena Bush CRIME Two Chicago police officers are facing charges for running their own drug distribution and blackmailing drug cartels on Chicago’s Westside. Eddie Long, 37 and Peter O’Reilly, 42 were arrested on Friday and are still in custody. They are currently being charged with drug conspiracy and racketeering. The men are charged with using police and gang tactics to shake gang members and extort money from small businesses.   “This type of behavior and corruption is not tolerated in the police force. These men are a disappointment to the men and women who serve this great city, and for those citizens who rely on police for justice.” Superintendent McCarthy. Prosecutors allege that the crimes have been occurring for the past three years. These methods of storytelling can come in the form of Radio, photographs, videos, written content, and other mediums. The art of storytelling and reporting depends on the audience and what method would dry them to partake in a report or story. Is 50 Shades of Grey too much?      By Magdalena Bush If you've read the book "Fifty Shades of Grey," you know that the movie is just as hot and sexy. The film has been rated "R," which changes the dynamics of the film.  Entertainment Weekly  reports " the "R" rating means that if you're 17 or younger, you have to be with a parent or guardian." The article goes on to tell readers that the screenwriter wanted to have two versions of the movie that includes NC-17 for those who want to see even more. As if the film needed any more sexual scenes?  One can probably say that the filmmakers are being too risky in allowing children or teens to watch the film in the company of an adult. When is it too much? Television, video games, and films can be too sexual and violent for children. A parent needs to decide what is appropriate enough for a child to view, but should filmmakers be held accountable as well? ...

Man thrown off roof by ISIS  "The torment of gay Syrians"       By: Magdalena Bush             B eing a gay man in Syria seems to be detrimental in an already destructive environment. ISIS, an Islamic militant group whose main goal is to overtake the Muslims, constantly expresses their beliefs through horrific atrocities. The recent development of tormenting and murders of homosexual men is just one example of severe and unorthodox behavior. CNN reports , " Victim brutally killed because he was accused of being gay." Persecuted   The report on the killings of homosexuals in Syria goes on to discuss the abuse and fleeing of gay men who fear for their lives. ISIS seems to take belief to the extreme, but tormenting by a community who treats homosexuals like the plague has proven to be a common problem in Syria.
